Strength Training with Antonio Gates

Chris Chambers maybe new main target of the San Diego Chargers, but for years the Charger's whole entire passing game revolved around Antonio Gates. Sure there was Vincent Jackson but his down field catches would not have been available had safeties not danced in the middle to lay hits on Gates who use the now common Tony Gonzalez esque basketball maneuvers to get free. But preparing for the field is a whole different ball game. Simply, you need more strength. Here are a few exercises that Gates uses during the off-season:
Med Ball Sit-Up: 3 Sets x 15 Reps
Med Ball Toe Touches: 3x15
Power Cleans: 4 x 3-5
Dumbbell Incline: 3x6-10
